Regional eating custom
Eating pizza with fainá stacked on top
In Buenos Aires and Montevideo, ordering a slice of pizza with a slice of chickpea fainá laid on top of it — 'a caballo', on horseback — is standard. It fuses a Genoese dish onto a Neapolitan-descended one, in a third country, and exists in neither origin tradition.
