Ruota di carro
Italian · pronounced roo-OH-tah dee KAR-roh
A pizza opened much wider than its plate, with an almost flat, minimal rim — the base overhangs the plate like a cartwheel. Associated with parts of southern Italy outside Naples and with some contemporary pizzerias, and defined precisely by having the opposite of a canotto rim.
